Obertauern, one of Austria's best-known ski resorts, offers impressive ski slopes and a wide variety of winter sports activities. The village lies at an altitude of 1,630-2313 metres, guaranteeing snow conditions throughout the winter season. The network of more than 100 km of ski slopes offers something for everyone: beginners can practise their skills on the easy slopes, while experienced skiers can challenge themselves on the steeper slopes.

Most of the slopes are located right next to the ski lifts, making access quick and easy. Obertauern's special feature is its circular system, which allows skiers to explore the different slopes in a single day without spending too much time on the lifts. The slopes are well maintained and a modern ski lift system ensures comfortable transport.
